Birthday Party Photo-Shoots

Our birthday parties are all about the fun!  We hold parties for ages 8 to 18 and we supply nibbles and soft drinks to consume throughout.  We recommend a couple of changes of clothes so as to get the most of the party, usually some casual clothes, dressy clothes and maybe 'party' clothes such as tutu's/cowgirl hats/sparkly name t-shirts etc.  You can also feel free to fetch anything else along as well, such as a Birthday Cake or props (although we do have a large selection of props already in the studio).

How long does the party last?

The party lasts 90 minutes. Around 45 minutes of this will be used as studio time. The remaining time is available for viewing pictures.

Who can attend?

The party girl/boy, along with five of their friends.  Attendees should be over eight years old. Please discuss with us first if you want children younger than this to attend. The parents or guardians of the party girl or boy must attend, but due to limited space in the shop we ask that other parents do not attend.

What days and times are parties available?

Parties are available Tuesday to Sunday, and usually run between 3:30pm and 5:00pm, but other times may be available – please ask.          

What happens?

Our photographer will take pictures of you and your guests in many different poses.  You and your guests can see and review the resulting images as they are being taken.  You will also be supplied with nibbles and soft drinks to consume whilst reviewing your images.

What do I get?

At the end of the party we provide you with all of the high resolution images (digital negatives) on disc copyright-free.  Your guests will each also receive a disc with a copy of the images. This means that you and your party guests will be able to print additional pictures whenever and wherever you like, or use them to upload to social networking sites.

As part of the package, the party girl/boy can also choose any image they want as an 18”x12” print and each party guest also chooses any image they want printed as a 12”x8” print.

Is there anything I need to prepare?

Yes. We cannot take photographs of anyone under 16 years of age without the express permission of parents or guardians. When you book your party you will be given a form which must be signed by the guardians of all attendees and must be presented on the day of the shoot.

What if I would like more than five friends to attend?

Extra guests can be accommodated at £20 per person.

When do I need to pay?

A £25 deposit is needed to secure your party booking.  The balance is payable two weeks prior to your party. We can accept card payments over the phone, or either cash or card can be taken at our studio.
