Our company was formed in 2007 with a vision to offer affordable studio photography in a safe and comfortable environment. We believe that people want reminders of precious moments throughout the life of their family and that there are many such moments. We wanted to make studio photography affordable - almost exchangable - so that our customers can afford to refresh their display images and store the older images as keep-sakes for the future.
We believe that our customers will want to buy and own our high quality images without the need for heavy handed sales pressure and the trick tactics so often used by others.
In line with this belief our studios are shops where you can see everything which goes on. There are no closed doors, no sales rooms and no pressure. We will spend as long or as short a time as you would like, you decide if you want the images and you decide if you want us to print those images. Our prices are highly competitive with internet based production companies and are a fraction of those charged by traditional studios.
Our work is first class, we offer a hassle free photo-shoot experience and uniquely we offer you the copyright to your images. This all adds up to the most cost-effective way to own your photographs.

This is what always happens when you visit our studios:
A “no nonsense” approach from start to finish:
- There are no sitting or booking fees and no cancellation charges.
- There are no false gimmicks or offers of free prints to “lure you in”
- We offer a photo shoot in your chosen style/preference (amount of time depends on what session you have booked - anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 and half hours)
- You review the results immediately
And then the real differences:
- You can choose to buy and own the copyright to all your colour and black & white photos. We can give them to you on a disc there and then! (Typical amount of images for a Mini Shoot is between 70 and 100, and a family shoot is between 150 and 200).
- Once you own the copyright, you can print and re-print your photos wherever and whenever you like - either with us, or at Boots or Tesco or anywhere else.
- You can be confident you are getting good value printing services with us, because you know have the freedom to go elsewhere.
This is typical of what happens at other studios:
An approach of “lure you in” then “get you over a barrel”!
- Sitting fees are common:
- Often they are 'waived' because you have 'won' some competition.
- Often waived as a sales technique "if you book today".
- False offers of free prints:
- Often the photographer chooses which photo you will get for free!
- Exorbitant prices for additional prints!
- You may have to wait a year to get your free prints - especially common with baby packages.
- Ask for their full price list, often they won’t show you!
- Sometimes your shoot can feel like a production line - you have no input into the process.
- You have to wait a week whilst they edit the pictures before they will show you the results.
And then the real gotcha:
- You cannot buy the copyright to your photos of your family!
- This means the studio has you “over a barrel” and they can charge you outrageous prices for every print you want !
- You have no choice and no bargaining power!
